Overview
HALF DAY
EXPERIENTIAL EXCURSION OF THE SECCA DELLE FORMICHE MARINE RESERVE IN CAPO ZAFFERANO – 4 HOURS
Make your holiday in Palermo truly unforgettable with our boat tour to Capo Zafferano.
Starting from the Porto dell’Arenella we will head east, having a splendid view of the Gulf of Palermo.
This area is rich in fish, so we can also prepare our fishing gear and hope to catch something! We will first reach the Baia dei Francesi, a small rocky beach nestled under a cliff, reachable only by sea or via a path.
Here we will stop for about an hour, and you will be able to swim in the intense turquoise waters of this bay.
Once everyone is back on board we will resume sailing around the promontory to reach the Arco Azzurro, a natural arch that connects the two walls of a rocky inlet at a height of 11 meters.
From this point on, the coast will be more rocky and interspersed with small inlets, such as those called Piscine.
We will continue sailing until Scarpone, also called Napoleon’s Hat because of its particular shape, which resembles the bicorne used by Napoleon.
Once we arrive near Capo Zafferano, you can dive back into the water, while we prepare a small aperitif for you to enjoy on board.
Our last stop will be the Capo Zafferano Lighthouse, located at the foot of an imposing rock face.
After about 4 hours spent discovering this extraordinary coast, we will return to Palermo.
